Program Notes:
To paint a time of turmoils is not in the purpose of wishing for it, but for we who live in a time of peace, should be aware of the suffering from the troubled times while keeping the memory of it, is an effort to keep the precious peace and prosperity that we have.
绘此等混乱于今之治世，莫非乱世方为余之所图乎？非也！逢治世者，畏乱世之离殇而惜当下；逢乱世者，望治世之太平而勤于行。享治忘乱者，得其益而忘危；处乱忘治者，失其志而不兴。 故赋此曲以乱世之残响，示治世之贵。
The sound of guan and the strings are connected in a dedicated way. The unique characteristics sometimes are in conflict, sometimes are in harmony, to project the scene of “seeking asylum” and “wars”.
管子和西方弦乐的音色以一种很微妙的方式连接起来，时而冲突，时而融入。来表达曲中所塑造的“避难” 与“战乱”的形象。
